The doctoral program in Educational Administration received its first students in the spring semester of 2022-2023, and the program was activated by the institute in the semester of 2023-2024. The main goal of the doctoral program is to specialize in the fields of educational administration and supervision, educational policy development and school management. Within this framework, the program aims to train future researchers working in private or public institutions. The doctoral program in Educational Administration aims to develop students' knowledge, skills and understanding of the field of educational administration, to educate them as individuals with the competencies of understanding, interpretation and application of theories, models and research methods in their field of study in this process. Therefore, the Doctoral program in Educational Administration and Supervision expects students to follow the current developments in the field of educational administration and supervision, to be able to reconstruct these developments in the light of theoretical knowledge and to develop practical recommendations to improve the capacity of schools at the national and international levels. In addition, students are expected to be able to redefine educational problems, to be able to do original research with original research methods to elucidate problems, to produce information to develop and implement policies at the system and organizational level. Rather than providing ready-made information, the doctoral program aims to help students acquire the skills necessary to produce the knowledge they may need in advanced theory and application explanations in business environments. Students who have graduated from the master's degree with a thesis in educational management are accepted to the program. As a prerequisite, they must obtain at least 65 points from the Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) and at least 55 points from the Higher Education Institutions Foreign Language Exam (YÖKDIL) or Foreign Language Exam (YDS). The language of the program is Turkish. In addition, according to the regulation of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education, all graduate students who registered after January 2022 have 1 SCI / SCI-E / SSCI / AHCI and/or 2 international indexed / 2 fields produced jointly with the advisor from the thesis indexed / 2 TR Index / national/international peer-reviewed articles; and/or 2 national/internationally published book chapters, and/or 1 book and/or 2 international full-text printed congress/ conference/symposium papers must have been published or received a certificate of acceptance for publication.
The PhD program in Educational Administration aims to develop students' knowledge, skills and understanding of the field of educational management in this process, to educate them as individuals with the competencies of understanding, interpretation and application of theories, models and research methods in their field of study.
The main goal of the doctoral program is to specialize in the fields of educational administration and supervision, educational policy development and school administration. Within this framework, the program aims to train future researchers working in private or public institutions.
Students who successfully complete the program are entitled to receive a PhD degree in Educational Sciences.
This program is a doctoral level program.

To have received at least 55 points from the "Equal Weight score type" (EA) score type from ALES
To have obtained at least 55 points from YDS, YÖKDIL or equivalent foreign language exams
The current evaluation criteria for admitting students to the program are as follows:
o ALES : 50%
o Foreign Language: 20%
o Undergraduate GPA: 10%
o Interview/ Science Exam: 20%
The PhD program provides the student with the necessary skills to conduct independent research, interpret, analyze and reach new syntheses by examining scientific problems and data from a broad and deep perspective.
The doctoral program consists of at least 240 ECTS credits, including at least seven courses, seminar, proficiency exam, thesis proposal and thesis study, provided that it is not less than a total of twenty-one credits and 60 ECTS for students accepted with a master's degree with thesis. For students admitted with a bachelor's degree, it consists of a total of at least 300 ECTS credits, including 14 courses of at least forty-two credits, seminar, qualifying exam, thesis proposal and thesis study.
In doctoral programs, with the recommendation of EABDB / EASDB and the approval of EYK, a maximum of two courses for students admitted with a master's degree and a maximum of four courses for students admitted with a bachelor's degree can be selected from the courses offered in other higher education institutions.
The thesis to be prepared at the end of the doctoral study must fulfill at least one of the qualifications of bringing innovation to science, developing a new scientific method, applying a known method to a new field.
Our PhD program trains managers, supervisors who will work in public and private educational institutions, and lecturers who will work in related fields at the faculties of education.

Explation of Other Letter Grades
a) DZ grade: It is given to students who do not fulfill the attendance requirements of the course. It is considered as an FF grade in the calculation of GPA. The student has to repeats the course for the DZ grade.
b) İZ grade: It is given to a student who does not fulfill the attendance requirements or the requirements for course because he is on academic leave of absence, and is not used in the calculation of GPA. The student has to repeats the course for the İZ grade.
c) YT grade: This grade is given to students who are successful in the courses, and it is not used in the calculation of the GPA.
d) YZ grade: This grade is given to students who fail the and it is not used in the calculation of the GPA.
e) GM grade: It is given for the exams that the student did not take.
f) SD grade: This grade is given to the courses that the student is not responsible for and is not used in calculating of the GPA.
