Total Quality Management program, covering all aspects of the quality of the discipline of theoretical and practical courses, offers an interdisciplinary approach. Total Quality Management Program, allowing the production of knowledge and technology research done at the international level,is implemented a training program for the training of academician and senior managers who produce solutions to the problems of the national economy and industry.

Our mission typically is to meet the requirement of business as a total quality manager and educate people to raise academicians in the area. 

[] Objectives

It primarily through education of our trainers, they work in institutions regarding the application of Total Quality Management information and awareness is intended to meet the needs and development. Therefore, the main objective of the seminar, the concept of total quality management in educational institutions by employees into a philosophy of life to help and tools is to show it in practice. Thus, our educational institutions, and can be successfully implemented TQM approach, which could lead to widespread corporate role model to be transformed to be achieved.

Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded an Master’s Degree in Total Quality Management.

It is a programme that provides graduate education at Second Cycle level.

[] Admission Requirements

It is essential for the candidates of graduate program:

•    To hold an undergraduate diploma.
•    To have a grade of at least 55 in ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam), 450 in GMAT, which is an internationally accredited exam or 610 in the “quantitative” part of GRE exam.
•    To meet the requirements determined by the head of department and to have  taken the language proficiency exam given by the Institute, unless the candidate has a certificate of KPDS/UDS or any other exam accredited by YOK (Turkish Higher Education Institution).
•    To be successful in the interview/ aptitude test.
•    To have a reference letter, a statement of purpose  showing thereas on for applying  for the graduate program and competence in written and oral Turkish and/or foreign language skills.
•    Exchange student applications are to be done in accordance with the admission requirements of the agreement signed between DuzceUniversity and the partner university.
•    Visiting students can take the courses approved by the head of the related department.

[] Recognition of Prior Learning

Students enrolled in DU might be exempted from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. A student can be exempted from a certain course provided related course content previously received from another institution complies with that of DU, which is subject to approval and verification by the Board of faculty/graduate school/school.

Recognition of Education Abroad

DU recognises academic terms and courses studied by a student that has been involved in an exchange programme for one or two terms at the universities with which a partnership was established.

Students that are selected to avail themselves of Student Mobility for Studies under ERASMUS are obliged to draw up an education agreement with relevant ERASMUS Unit Coordination prior to the mobility term. The education agreement demonstrates the courses to be studied at the partner university the student intends to go, as well as appropriate ECTS credits.

In addition to this, students shall be asked to issue a Recognition Sheet, which refers to the equivalent of foreign courses in DU, so that the credit transfer is planned and approved.

At the end of the exchange term, the courses studied abroad are recorded and demonstrated in the transcript, together with the original course codes and names and ECTS credits. Pursuant to ERASMUS Programme and Collaboration Agreements concluded thereunto, official transcripts will quote, an abbreviation signal of ET, European Transfer, for the courses studied abroad.

Total Quality Management Science Program,under the umbrella of Duzce University Institute of Social Sciences, include related courses of total quality management and taught at the master's teaching program.

2 Have necessary information about making quality as a part of the organizations strategies.
3 Have necessary information and motivation about improving business processes continuously based on quality philosophy.
4 Knows how to use management, engineering, statistics disciplinary with synchronized and interactive in quality management
5 Have information about establishment, operation and the use of data analysis that the results in management decisions of quality cost system that important to measure the success of quality management systems
6 Have the skills on analytical thinking and systematic approach to quality-related event
7 Have the skills to increase business process performance effectively by using necessary management and statistical techniques and problem-solving approach
8 Provide information related to quality management to team members
9 Have the competence to manage the team members related projects on quality management and quality improvement
10 Make contribution by following literature and developments on quality in the World.
11 Have the competence to take responsibility as a team administrator or member by performing discussion and analysis on strategic planning, performance management, quality management and improvement in order to support the theoretical quality information

[] Professional Profile of Graduates

Graduated students have the opportunity to work in various academic fields as “academicians” at universities. In addition, he can work in the fields of development, implementation and continuous improvement of quality management systems in the private sector, occupational health and occupational safety. He also has the opportunity to work in the fields of determining quality standards and costs in areas such as management, production, finance, marketing, human resources, quality control and management of quality assurance activities.

Students who graduate from this program in order to receive a doctorate degree can apply Higher Education Institutions providing doctoral education in the field of Total Quality Management

[] Program Structure

Program is being operated through coordinated Works of Head of Department, Assistant of Head of  Department and Coordinator of ECTS.

Courses, each course, which is responsible for the relevant in the framework.of criteria specified by the instructor and teaching methods are processed.

Students take courses in two semester and  they prepare Master Thesis in two semesters also.

Specialization Courses is well taken with Master's Thesis.

students who completed Thesis and approved by the Institute completed the program successfully.
