General Registration Procedures

The final registration procedure for students placed by the Student Selection and Placement Center to study at DU is announced on our University website. Students register online via E-Registration or in person on the dates determined by the Student Selection and Placement Center for the program they will register for. All procedures related to registration must be completed by students themselves unless a written excuse is provided. Registration procedures are carried out by the Student Affairs Department.

Students who wish to study in graduate programs must apply online to the relevant Institute with all the documents required for registration between the dates specified in the academic calendar. The Institute carries out the final registration procedures on the dates announced in the academic calendar.

International students who are eligible to study at DU are announced on the website after their applications are evaluated. An “Acceptance Letter” is prepared for these students to be used in both visa procedures and diploma equivalence procedures. Students are obliged to complete their registration procedures by submitting the necessary documents and completing their registration procedures during the announced final registration dates.

The registration of international exchange students is carried out within the framework of bilateral agreements (ERASMUS or General Academic Protocol) signed between DU and the partner university. According to the conditions specified in the protocols, exchange students can study at DU for one or two semesters by registering for appropriate courses. At the end of the semester, an approved transcript showing the grades and ECTS credits of all courses registered is delivered to the student.
