Goals The aim of this course is to teach advanced engineering approaches for the strategic-level analysis, modeling, and redesign of production systems. Students are expected to evaluate complex production systems using data-driven methods, improve system performance using optimization techniques, and develop sustainable production strategies.
Course Content Topics to be covered include production systems, strategic management, redesign, lean manufacturing, Industry 4.0, simulation and modeling techniques, capacity planning, and supply chain integration.
