Goals .• Teaching information about maqam, rhythm, form, composer, lyrics and performance properties of Classical Turkish Music repertoire with lyrics. • Improving solo and collective performance skills by studying pieces with characteristic features. • Creating a expertness field due to individualistic vocale properties. • Improving performance style by studying examples and information about style, interpretation. • Teaching repertoire.
Course Content . General information about maqam, rhythm, form, composer, lyrics and performance properties of Classical Turkish Music repertoire with lyrics. Information about Şarkı, Yürük Semai, Ağır Semai and Beste forms. Playing pieces composed with small usuls and song form in Nikriz, Neveser, Şedaraban, Mahur, Acemaşiran, Acemkürdi and Sultaniyegâh maqams. Playing pieces composed in Yürük Semai form with Nihavent, Nikriz, Neveser, Şedaraban, Mahur, Acemaşiran, Acemkürdi and Sultaniyegâh maqams. Playing pieces composed in Ağır Semai form with Nihavent, Nikriz, Neveser, Şedaraban, Mahur, Acemaşiran, Acemkürdi ve Sultaniyegâh maqams. Playing pieces composed with big usuls and Beste form with Nihavent, Nikriz, Neveser, Şedaraban, Mahur, Acemaşiran, Acemkürdi and Sultaniyegâh maqams.
