Goals General information about the instrument Contribution to the releated field subjects. Being prescient about piano repertoire and performance. Motivating students for researches about piano. Developing awareness for featuring.
Course Content Development in basic performing techniques; hand and finger positions, technical exercises, development of indepedence for both hands, development of musical statement, 60-104 numbered exercises from Beyer op.101, Czerny op.599 Etudes, Duvernoy op.176 Etudes, J.S.Bach Anna Magdelena Bach Album; Clementi, Dussek, Kuhlau, Beethoven Sonatin, 4 octave scales up to 1 sharp/flat and their arpeggios. Technical exercises with same and different hands.
