Goals The aim of this course is to enable students to conduct their thesis research within the framework of scientific methodology and to follow this process.
Course Content Conducting a comprehensive literature review on the topic, preparing a research model outline, determining research scales, identifying research analysis methods, selecting a data collection instrument, collecting data, analyzing data, evaluating the analysis, and preparing the final research report.

3 Has the ability to think at different levels of abstraction and detail; Going beyond a narrow realization, it analyzes the different contexts in which an information security system can be considered, including its interactions with the physical world and people.
4 Solves any technical or scientific information security problem by itself and offers the most appropriate possible solution; Has good communication skills to explain the integrity of the solution and clearly explain the assumptions made.
5 Completes a larger-scale project compared to an ordinary course project in order to acquire interpersonal communication skills necessary for effective working in a team.
6 He is aware that the field of information security and cyber security is developing rapidly, security algorithms, security vulnerabilities and attack types change over time. For this reason, he follows information security, cyber attacks and defense mechanisms and cryptographic developments and applications, learns and develops his skills throughout his career.
8 Has a good grasp of technical terms in both English and Turkish and can make concise presentations on technical/scientific problems and their solutions to a variety of audiences face-to-face, in writing or electronically.
9 Define research problems and conduct research using scientific methods to solve scientific problems.
