Goals The aim of this course is to introduce the basic concepts, sub-disciplines, historical development, and current application areas of sport sciences, and to help students gain fundamental knowledge and awareness about the field of sport sciences
Course Content This course covers the basic concepts of sport sciences, its historical development, major sub-disciplines, and application areas. It examines the relationship between sport, exercise, and health, as well as the physical, psychological, social, and educational functions of sport. The course also introduces fundamental topics such as motor development, training principles, sport management, sports ethics, and current approaches in sport sciences.
