Goals The aim of the course is review the development of Turkish political life and the changes.
Course Content From the Ottoman Empire to the Republic, the establishment of the Republic and the revolutions, the period until the death of Atatürk, the years of Ismet Pasha (World War II and the transition to many parties), the Democratic Party (1950-60), 27 May Revolution, the Justice Party and 1965 The course will focus on topics such as elections, 12 March, 12 September 1980, 2000s and the global world.

1 Learning important events and historical processes in Turkish political life, basic political ideas and political personalities.
2 To analyze the historical transformation of Turkish society from past to present and to analyze the place of this transformation within the general evolution of civilization
