| Goals | Understanding the structure of Turkish and basic grammatical features, comprehending the texts as required, expanding the vocabulary of students. |
| Course Content | Definition and characteristics of language, classification of world languages, the place and importance of Turkish language among world languages, the main aspects of Turkish language in terms of structure. Historical development of Turkish written language, definition of speech and writing language,, dialect and mouth characteristics. Basic grammar rules. Correct sentence formation and nice speech, using the dictionary, choosing the true meaning of words found in the dictionary: Book review technique, structure of words, construction and suffixes, word analysis. |
