Goals To recognize the works of Turkish world literatures transferred to Turkey Turkish and recognized in the Turkish world. The aim of the course is to analyze and evaluate these works with a selection of Turkish world classics.
Course Content The definition of Turkish World Literatures and the analysis and evaluation of the literary works of the Turks in the world constitute the content of the course.

1 Explaining the effects of schools of thought on the literature of the Turkish world
2 To be able to give examples from the classic works of Turkish world literature.
3 To be able to interpret the interactions of national literatures that constitute the literatures of the Turkish world

5 To be able to interpret the discussions around the concept of Turkish world literature.
6 Knowing different learning approaches in line with the developmental characteristics of students.

1 Obtains the basic knowledge and skill of studying and researching at the academic level in Turkish Language and Literature.
2 Earns the trust of critical thoughts explanation in a constructive way.
3 Knows the classical and modern literary movements from the past to the present. Evaluates the impacts of the literary movements upon the expression forms.
4 Examines the Turkish language and literature texts from beginning to present. Finds the opportunity of comparison with the texts of western literature.
5 Determines the basic properties of the Modern Turkish Literature periods; knows the new forms and themes that play a role in the period, the new literary language, and imagism, reveals the relationships of the new author, text and reader; compares with the old and determines the effects to the next.
6 Gets information about prosody, rhyme and poetry forms of Old Turkish Literature. Knows this literature's periods, poets and these poet’s works. Tries to read and understand the texts written with Arabic script.
7 Develops the ability of perception, criticising and expressing an opinion about how to analyze a text.
8 Examines the Turkish language and literature texts from beginning to present. Finds the opportunity of comparison with the texts of western literature.
9 Obtains information about the expression-based types in Turkish Folk Literature.
10 Knows the alphabets of the historical and contemporary Turkish dialects. Makes the transcription of the texts and translates them in to Turkey Turkish; makes studies on these texts about grammar and linguistics
11 Acquires the scientific ethics and sense of responsibility.
12 Uses the knowledge and skills acquired in the field of Turkish language and literature at the shared studies of other areas of social sciences.
