Goals
|
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the fundamental macroeconomic concepts, indicators, and models that examine the economy as a whole. The course seeks to develop an understanding of key macroeconomic variables such as national income, unemployment, inflation, economic growth, and the functioning of monetary and fiscal policies.

Course Content
|
An overview of macroeconomic equilibrium, national income accounting, consumption–savings–investment relationships, money and banking, economic fluctuations, unemployment and inflation, monetary policy, fiscal policy, aggregate demand and aggregate supply analyses, and economic growth theories.
