Goals The aim of this course is to develop students’ career awareness regarding the expectations of professional life, enable them to effectively utilize their academic education to plan their post-graduation careers, support them in selecting professions aligned with their interests, skills, and competencies, and guide them in strategically shaping their careers in suitable fields.
Course Content The course introduces the concept of career, the role of Career Centers, and the importance of self-awareness. It examines how intelligence, personality, and individual traits influence career choices, and highlights the development of technical and soft skills. Students learn how to prepare for their careers, including CV writing and interview skills, and explore various sectors such as public, private, academia, entrepreneurship, and national and international organizations. By the end of the course, they develop practical career plans based on acquired knowledge.
