| Goals | The aim of this course is to introduce students to the main areas covered under the heading of industrial organization, in light of modern conceptual approaches and empirical studies. |
| Course Content | Students who successfully complete this course will: • Students will recognize that our competition-based understanding of the market is complex and that the multiple competing perspectives within industrial economics lead to problems in public decision-making processes. • Students will gain knowledge regarding the concentration ratio. • Students will be able to define industrial economics. • Students will be able to make comments regarding the definition of an industry. • Students will be able to compare the various perspectives within industrial economics. |
