1 Acquire a general sociological perspective.
2 Acquire knowledge of the basic characteristics of sociological method and the stages of sociological inquiry; comprehension of the required concepts for a social scientific inquiry and the methods for a sociological research, and also to be able to use them in an applied research.
3 Recognition of the classical and contemporary sociological theories and the ability to compare them.
4 Analyze the basic characteristics of social structures and institutions that are whether national or common in the world.

7 Analyze the social mobilization and relations of social class in the modern industrial and post-industrial societies.

9 Propose solutions for the social problems while implementing the most efficient research techniques.
10 To produce and publish scientific knowledge, share it with society, and contribute to the consciousness of the society.
11 To generate different perspectives for various social problems, and to think systematically.
12 To have an objective perspective towards social phenomena.
13 To watch closely the scientific and modern developments, and improve himself / herself; and follow scientific ethics
14 To become sociologists who are able to capture and analyze the spirit of the age by dealing with local, national, and global social problems.
