Goals The aim of this course is to enable students to approach the concept of ecotourism from a sustainable tourism perspective, to develop their skills in researching ecotourism practices and preparing presentations, and to facilitate the evaluation of current issues in ecotourism within an academic discussion environment.
Course Content This course will cover the fundamental concepts of ecotourism, the principles of sustainable tourism, the conservation of natural and cultural resources, the participation of local communities in tourism, and ecotourism planning and management. Students will conduct research on specified topics, deliver seminar presentations, and participate in academic discussions.
