2 Distinguishes the differences and similarities between modern spiritual quests and traditional religious structures.
3 Classifies different new religious movements according to their basic characteristics (e.g., world-affirming, world-rejecting).
4 Evaluates the impact of globalization, secularization, and individualization processes on new religious and spiritual formations.
5 Interprets social reactions, controversies, and ethical issues regarding new religious movements from a critical perspective.
