Goals The aim of this course is to enable counseling students to learn basic interviewing and counseling principles and techniques, dynamics, the nature of the counseling process, therapeutic conditions, goal setting, conceptualization, termination and monitoring processes in counseling.
Course Content Verbal and non-verbal skills related to interviewing and counseling process; reflection skills; advanced reflection skills; feedback and confrontation skills; basic therapeutic conditions of counseling process; nature and basic understanding of counseling process; stages of counseling process; ethics in counseling.
