Goals The aim of this course is to provide the students who take the course with theoretical knowledge about the basic spiritual dynamics that make up the essence of human beings by considering them as a spiritual being. In addition, it is to gain the ability to interpret and explain the relationship between spirituality and meaning in the context of religious, philosophical, psychological and sociological theories about the search for meaning, which is at the beginning of the emotional needs and basic motives of human beings compatible with their existential purpose.
Course Content This course examines the fundamental spiritual dynamics that shape human existence, considering humans as beings of meaning and spirituality, within the framework of concepts such as the search for meaning, values, beliefs, and inner integrity. The relationship between spirituality and meaning is explored through religious, philosophical, psychological, and sociological perspectives; the individual's existential purpose, emotional needs, and meaning-making processes are evaluated in both theoretical and practical dimensions. Furthermore, crises of meaning, the construction of life's meaning, and the reflections of these processes in the field of spiritual counseling and guidance are discussed.

1 Knowledge of Spiritual Counseling: Possess a deep understanding of theoretical and practical knowledge in spiritual counseling and guidance, and be able to develop solutions tailored to the spiritual needs of different individuals.
