Goals The Career Planning course aims to familiarize students with the business world, different sectors, and their requirements, thereby raising awareness among students about the importance of career planning in preparing for the business world. The course helps students discover their personal competencies and accurately understand the expectations of the business world, enabling them to develop their knowledge and skills in line with the requirements of the relevant sectors.
Course Content 1. Becoming Aware of Career Center Activities. 2. Increasing Self-Awareness. 3. Exploring Career Options. 4. Developing Self-Expression and Effective Communication Skills. 5. Understanding the Importance of Professional Networking. 6. Becoming Aware of Support Units. 7. Learning Effective Resource Utilization.
Learning Outcomes

1 Recognition of Career Centers and Activities: Ensuring that the student is aware of the services offered by the Career Center and establishing a link between the Career Center and the student.
2 Increasing Self Awareness: The student; learning concepts such as intelligence, personality, knowledge, skill, talent and competence and establishing the connection of these concepts with career.
3 Exploring Career Options: Students get to know sectors such as the public sector, private sector, academia, non-governmental organizations, understand the differences between sectors and see the working life in these sectors.
4 Developing Fine Skills: Increasing awareness about the importance of developing fine skills in the career process.
5 Exploring Activities to Contribute to Career Planning: Informing students about activities that can contribute to their careers outside of their courses throughout their university life.
6 Recognition of International Exchange Programs: Students' awareness of the contributions of international exchange programs to personal development and academic life and their positive reflections on their career plans.
7 Recognition of Talent Gate: The student learns that through Talent Gate, counseling can be obtained from Career Centers, applications can be made to activities such as fairs, seminars, workshops, and internship announcements.
