Goals The aim of this course is to help students understand the theoretical and practical aspects of behavioral disorders. Students are expected to create treatment plans tailored to individual needs and develop interventions aligned with ethical standards. Additionally, they are encouraged to contribute new approaches to behavioral disorders through scientific research.
Course Content This course provides an in-depth exploration of types, causes, and intervention methods for behavioral disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. It examines the effects of social, biological, and environmental factors on behavior. The course emphasizes research methods, case analyses, and multidisciplinary approaches to diagnosis and treatment.

1 Defines the basic concepts, theoretical approaches, and current diagnostic systems (DSM-5) regarding the distinction between "normal" and "abnormal" behavior in psychopathology.
2 Analyzes the biological, psychological, and social factors in the emergence of mental disorders within the framework of the biopsychosocial model.
3 Distinguishes the core symptoms of behavioral disorders through case studies.
4 Evaluates the importance of cultural sensitivity and the risks of stigmatization in the diagnostic and assessment processes in light of ethical principles.
5 Comprehends the necessary referral processes by distinguishing between clinical psychopathological cases and situations within the boundaries of psychological counseling.
