Goals Students will conceptualize differentiating soil, rock and minerals and their origins,soil forming factors, physical, chemical, and biological properties of mineral soils, organic matter, soil slinity and alkalinity, soil drainage and erosion.
Course Content This course covers a range of topics in soil science as soil, rock, and minerals; soil forming factors; physical, chemical, and biological properties of soils; soil organic matter and decay; soil salinity and alkalinity and soil erosion and drainage.
