Goals The student learns the political, military, religious and cultural structure of Islamic geography from the emergence of the caliphate institution until the end of the Abbasid period.
Course Content The Formation Process of Abbasid Revolution; Abbasid states and Andalusian political, cultural and civilization history;The Period of Samarra (221-279 / 836-892);Abbasid Caliphate and the Karmatîs, The Period of Amīr al-Omarā (324-447 / 936-1055), the Seljuk Sovereignty Period (447-590 / 1055-1194), the Mongol invasion and collapse
