Goals To teach the phonetic, morphological features and general grammatical structure of Karakhanid Turkic. To introduce the texts and characteristic features of Karakhanid Turkic.
Course Content -Examination of Karakhanid period works and the phonetic and morphological characteristics of the Turkish language. -Philological analysis of period texts such as Kutadgu Bilig, Diwan Lughat al-Turk, and Atabetü’l-Hakayık.
