Goals To understand the general features of Old Uyghur Turkish. To make people understand the importance of Ancient Uyghurs in Turkish history. To be able to examine the inscriptions and manuscripts from the ancient Uyghurs. To make students understand the vocabulary of relevant works. To show the origins of words and their course in historical dialects.
Course Content History of the Old Uyghurs, inscriptions, manuscripts, and general linguistic features of the period.
