Goals The aim of the Career Planning course is to guide students in determining their careers in accordance with their intelligence, personality, knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies. Within the scope of the course; awareness will be created about these concepts, Career Centers and activities where students can receive support about their careers throughout their university life will be introduced, the use and benefiting from the Talent Gateway will be shown, and opportunities will be offered to get acquainted with working life in different sectors.
Course Content It is recommended that the Career Planning course be taught within the framework of the draft created by the Presidency Human Resources Office, with videos and activities prepared for each week, and guest trainers to be invited from university lecturers, industry professionals, non-governmental organizations and international organizations. The supportive activities to be included in the course are designed to inform students about the methods and tools used in professional applications and to enable them to use them in the most effective way, and are supported by practical activities. Career centers will follow the course practically with activities that provide experience opportunities that will support students to develop their skills. The proposed program regarding the structure and contents of the course is presented below. The program in question may differ according to the characteristics of the universities and the departments where the students who will take the course are registered.

1 Recognition of Career Centers and Their Activities: Students become aware of the services offered by the Career Center, and a connection is established between the Career Center and the students.
2 Enhancing Self-Awareness: Students learn about concepts such as intelligence, personality, knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies, and establish the connection between these concepts and career paths.
3 Students become familiar with various sectors such as the public and private sectors, academia, and non-governmental organizations, understand the differences between these sectors, and experience working life within them.
4 Developing Fine Skills: Awareness increases regarding the importance of developing fine skills throughout a career.
5 Exploring Activities That Can Contribute to Career Planning: Throughout their university life, students learn about activities outside of their classes that can contribute to their careers.
6 Recognition of International Exchange Programs: Students gain awareness of the contributions of international exchange programs to personal development and academic life, and their positive impact on career plans.
7 Becoming Aware of the Talent Gateway: Students learn that they can receive counseling from Career Centers through the Talent Gateway, and apply for activities such as fairs, seminars, workshops, and internship opportunities.
