Goals The course aims to teach the formation process of the Turkish Revolution, enable comparative evaluations with other revolutions, foster individuals who adopt Atatürk’s principles and reforms, and instill historical awareness.
Course Content This course covers the political, social, and foreign policy developments of the Republic of Türkiye from its foundation to the present. The primary topics include the Treaties of Sèvres and Lausanne, Atatürk’s Principles and Revolutions, attempts to transition to a multi-party system, and Turkish political life after World War II.
