Goals It is the development of designs according to the subjects and programs determined based on the observations and researches of the students, starting from the level of urban scale and urban relations to the architectural scale.
Course Content It is to make design experiments in the regions of the city and its immediate surroundings in terms of texture, function, history, natural and topographic qualities. Studies will start by determining social, functional, and spatial characteristics in one of the specified regions. As a result of these studies, the functional suggestions determined by the student will be discussed; In the changing structure of the city, issues such as new functions, historical features, improvement of buildings, the arrangement of urban gaps, and open spaces will come to the fore. Among these approaches, the spatiality and design problems arising from the overlap of different functions are important stages to be evaluated in the proposed building design.
