Goals The purpose of this course is to introduce stairways and roofs to the students so that they can make the right approach and attain accurate results in their roof and stairway solutions.
Course Content Examination of functional building elements in the building subsystem. Exterior wall systems; interior wall systems, wall details, insulation and drawings, flooring systems, floor plans, floor details insulation and drawings; roof systems, roof plans, roof sections, roof details, insulation and drawings, vertical circulation systems, stairs, staircase calculations, staircase drawings and details, basic structural features of the functional elements included in the content, architectural details, criteria to be followed in design, plans and drawings , regulatory requirements and technical details. Applications on sample projects.
