Goals The fundamental elements and principles of architectural design are taught, and students’ design skills are developed through practical exercises.
Course Content The course on visual perception and perception theories forms the theoretical foundation of the module. Students are taught how to use fundamental design elements such as point, line, plane, texture and colour, and this knowledge is reinforced through a variety of practical exercises. Topics such as the formation of colours, types of colour, colour psychology and cultural meanings are also covered.
