Goals To apply theoretical knowledge related to coaching in the field and enable students to gain competency in exercise evaluation.
Course Content The ATE403 Exercise Evaluation course aims to enable students to understand and apply the concept of exercise evaluation in coaching. The course covers the basic principles of exercise evaluation, different types of tests, and criteria for selecting appropriate tests. Students learn to implement tests in the field, use measurement tools, and apply data collection methods. The course also emphasizes analysis of test results and performance evaluation, including preparation of athlete development reports. Integration of theoretical knowledge into practical applications is highlighted, with test results being applied to training programs, individual and group performance assessments, and case studies. Finally, continuous performance monitoring methods and development planning are taught to enhance students’ decision-making and planning skills in the coaching process.
