| Goals | The course aims to provide students with theoretical knowledge related to health and first aid and to enable them to apply this knowledge in practice. |
| Course Content | This course covers assessment of the patient/injured person and the scene, basic life support, first aid in bleeding and injuries, first aid in burns, frostbite and heat stroke, first aid in fractures, dislocations and sprains, first aid in disorders of consciousness, first aid in poisoning, first aid in animal bites, first aid for foreign bodies in the eye, ear and nose, first aid in drowning, patient/injured transport techniques, and automated external defibrillator (AED) applications. |
