| Goals | To understand the importance of language in the life of the individual and the life of the Turkish language and to teach the historical periods of Turkish language; To be able to grasp the sound and shape structure of Turkish and to develop students' ability to express what they have heard, read, see and think in a planned, effective and fluent way. |
| Course Content | - Knows the definition of language, has an idea about the place and importance of language as a social institution in the life of the society, language and the language of culture and language is the difference between thought. - Learns the place of Turkish language among the world languages. He realizes the riches and subtleties of Turkish. He learns the difference between Turkish language and other languages. - Have knowledge about the development and historical periods of Turkish language. |

They will be able to give presentations in front of an audience, express their knowledge and thoughts at a level that others can understand, and use effective communication. 11. They will develop the habit of using dictionaries and style guides. 12. In their academic theses (undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral), they will use the Turkish language within the framework of thesis writing rules. 13. They will gain the ability to analyze literary and scientific texts and take notes. 14. They will recognize idioms and proverbs and use these expressions in oral and written communication. |
