Goals The aim is to explain general information about organic chemistry, introduce functional groups, and name them.
Course Content Classification of hydrocarbons; Alkanes; Alkenes; Alkynes; Arenes (Aromatic Hydrocarbons) Alcohols; Ethers; Aldehydes and Ketones; Carboxylic acids; Esters; Aliphatic ammonia derivatives; Aromatic compounds; Aromatic oxygenated compounds (Benzyl Alcohol, Benzaldehyde, Polyester).
