Goals This course aims to raise students’ awareness of the importance of career planning by helping them understand the business world and the expectations of various sectors. It also seeks to guide students in discovering their personal competencies and developing their knowledge and skills in alignment with industry requirements.
Course Content This course covers the setting of career goals, analysis of individual competencies, and professional development processes. The content is based on academic, public, and private sector opportunities, as well as essential business skills such as effective CV writing, interview techniques, and entrepreneurship.

1 The student recognizes the services offered by Career Centers and learns how to benefit from them.
2 The student develops self-awareness by identifying personal characteristics, interests, talents, and skills.
3 The student evaluates suitable career options by comparing different professional fields such as the public sector, private sector, academia, and non-governmental organizations.
4 The student understands the contribution of extracurricular activities (internships, volunteering, student clubs, etc.) to career development during university life.
5 The student assesses the academic and professional benefits of international exchange programs.
6 The student learns how to use the “Yetenek Kapısı” (Talent Gate) platform to participate in career events, receive counseling, and apply for internship opportunities.

1 Achieves proficiency in using the Turkish language correctly and clearly by analyzing its structural and morphological features.
