Goals The aim of this course is to teach the formation process of the Turkish Revolution, to enable comparative evaluations with other revolutions, to raise individuals who embrace Atatürk's principles and reforms, and to instill a sense of historical consciousness.
Course Content This course covers the impact of European modernization on the Ottoman Empire, World War I, and the Turkish War of Independence led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It focuses on the transition from military conflict to the diplomatic victory of the Treaty of Lausanne.
