Goals The aim of this course is to teach students the basic concepts of information and communication technology, the logic of computers and the use of office applications.
Course Content 1) Define information and information processing concepts in computer enviroment. 2) Definitions of hardware and software units of computer. 3) Types of software and software concepts. 4) Know operating system concepts. 5) Use Windows XP operating system. 6) Use Microsoft Word processsing program. 7) Use Microsoft Powerpoint electronic preselation program. 8) Use internet efficiantly and know basic concepts about internet
Learning Outcomes
# Öğrenme Kazanımı
1 Reasoning, knowledge: To learn about basic concepts of information and communication technology, working system, basic computer hardware parts and working principles, operating system and its features, internet and usage ways, word processor program, spreadsheet and its usage, presentation program usage.
2 Sensation, attitude(affective): Understanding the principles of basic information technologies, developing problem solving and analyzing skills and keeping up with the latest innovations and developments in the technological field.
3 Perform, skill (psychomotor): To be able to create documents in the office, prepare reports and prepare effective presentation contents by using the basic office applications required for the business life of the students effectively.
