Goals • To be able to evaluate disaster risk factors in cities. • To be able to monitor and improve the measures taken against disasters and emergencies. • To be able to evaluate disaster risk and management within the Landscape Architecture professional discipline.

1 Reasoning, knowledge: • Should have knowledge and define the concepts of emergency, disaster, disaster management, risk and danger. • Should have information about the historical development of Disaster Management. • Should have information about the types of disasters. • Should know the Integrated Disaster Management System. • Should have knowledge about Turkey Disaster Response Plan. • Should gain knowledge of the disaster history and hazard profiles of Turkish cities.
2 Sensation, attitude(affective): • Analyzing the risks brought about by the use contrary to nature, • To be able to draw the danger profile of the cities, • To be able to evaluate different types of disasters
3 Perform, skill (psychomotor): • Cities; Gains competence in development, planning and reduction of disaster risks.
