Goals With this course students are acquainted to related particleboard industry. In additional to especially raw material wood’s is used effectively, quality of manufactured particleboard achieve suitability to standards, prevented of problems Which are happened at manufacture, determination of physical and mechanics properties. Introduce usage machines at this ındustry
Course Content The historical development of particleboard production, The amount of particleboard production in World and Turkey, Definition particleboard, using raw materials, lignocellulozic materials, Chemical materials, adhesives, preservatives, particleboard factory tour, Chip manufacturing technique, chipping process Classification, screening and screening machines, Drying, draying types, storing, Gluing, mixing machines, Forming system, Pressing, Sizing, sanding and storing, Vertical particleboard production Vertical and horizontal system, Cement board production, Quality control, chemical and technological properties of panels, Standards and test methods, Analyzing test results
