Goals Designing basis for wooden material constructions; the affecting factors; place-furniture relations; furniture-user relations; places and furniture related to house actions; setting of places; other factors impacting the furniture design; status of design in Turkey; modular furniture design; technical model development; historical development and classification of furniture; information on the materials used in furniture production and the methods on assembling them.
Course Content Matters to consider for wooden constructions; general information on house actions, places and furniture, furniture design and components; classification and historical development of furniture; introduction of the materials used in furniture and construction component production; auxiliary materials; wooden material assembling methods; wooden material and furniture constructions; standardization and quality characteristics in constructions.
