Goals This course teaches students general concepts in occupational health and safety. It teaches the causes of work accidents and occupational diseases that may arise in the workplace, the methods of protection from work accidents and occupational diseases, and the supervision of practices in the workplace under the occupational health and safety legislation. Learns the concept of danger and risk and teaches risk assessment.

2 Have information about the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and see examples of its implementation in the workplace
3 Understand the concepts of risk, danger, primary, secondary, and tertiary protection and protective measures in occupational health and employee health
4 Know physical, chemical, biological, and psychosocial risks
5 Gains knowledge about risk assessment and makes risk assessment practices
