| Goals | To enable students to use basic computer programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) in the field of graphic design at an expert level; and to support them in applying these skills to produce creative and functional design solutions both during their education and in their professional lives. |
| Course Content | This course aims to introduce fundamental computer programs used in graphic design and enable students to use these programs at an expert level. Students gain visual editing skills by working with Photoshop on photo editing, coloring, and different file formats. Through Illustrator, they learn vector drawing, coloring, and typographic editing techniques, thus acquiring the competence to develop original designs. By learning to create multi-page layouts and publication designs with InDesign, they prepare for professional design processes. By the end of the course, students will be able to produce comprehensive graphic design projects using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign programs in coordination and take an active role in industry applications. |
