Goals To have knowledge about emergency and disaster concepts, to define danger and risk concepts. Having information about the types of disasters seen in the world and Turkey's geography. Preparing for emergencies and disasters, identifying existing risks and taking countermeasures. To monitor and develop the determined countermeasures. Having information about economic, environmental and social factors in disasters.
Course Content Danger and defining the concept of risk and the general disaster, disaster risk management system stages seen in Turkey, preparedness and prevention, intervention, rehabilitation, restructuring, risk identification, risk management, early warning and prevention techniques, informs the disaster and risk management, the experienced world major disasters and risk management
