| Goals | To teach the features of phonetics within the scope of Old Turkish, Karakhanid Turkish, Khwarezm Turkish, Chagatai Turkish, Kipchak Turkish and Old Anatolian Turkish periods of Turkish language. |
| Course Content | 1. Knows the vowel changes in the historical course of the Turkish language. 2. Knows the consonant changes in the historical course of the Turkish language. 3. Knows the consonant harmony in the historical course of the Turkish language. 4. Knows the harmony of thickness and thinness in the historical course of the Turkish language. 5. Knows the harmony of flatness and roundness in the historical course of the Turkish language. 6. Knows the sound events such as the rise and fall of vowels in the historical course of the Turkish language. 7. Knows the phonetic phenomena such as consonance and assimilation in the historical course of the Turkish language. |
