Mode of delivery The course will be conducted through theoretical lectures supported by case studies. Each week, a specific topic will be covered in detail, followed by interactive discussions with students and examination of recent case examples from the healthcare sector. Another key component of the course is group work; students will develop creative solutions to current issues in hospital management through group projects.

Goals The aim of this course is to introduce students to the latest developments in the healthcare sector and their implications for hospital management. Students gain skills in analyzing innovative practices, digital transformation processes, and changes in healthcare policies within the health management field. Additionally, they develop competencies in solving current issues encountered in hospital management and making strategic decisions.
Course Content This course will cover the following topics: Digitalization in healthcare and digital health applications The use of artificial intelligence and data analytics in healthcare management Global and local changes in healthcare policies Improving hospital operations and efficiency-enhancing approaches Post-pandemic transformation and sustainability in healthcare services Innovations in patient safety, quality management, and accreditation processes Big data and healthcare services Theoretical background approaches to better understand current developments
