Goals The aim of this course is to provide students with the ability to define the concept of policy, to interpret its elements, to predict the macro and micro effects of the policies developed in the field of health, to predict the effects and possible reactions of stakeholders and interest groups in the formation and implementation of these policies.
Course Content This course covers the concepts of policy, theories of power, demand and needs planning methods, different political systems and their effects on the formation of health policy, and Turkish Health Policy reforms.

1 To be able to comprehend the concept of policy and its elements
2 To be able to predict the effects and reactions of interest groups in the policy-making and implementation process.
3 To be able to evaluate the structural changes in the Turkish health system from a holistic perspective in the historical flow.
