Goals Knows and applies basic first aid information. Knows the ways of protection from diseases, knows the first aid methods in general sports injuries.
Course Content Definition of health information, its purpose, health related developments, prevention of diseases, methods of developing healthy lifestyle, hygiene, harmful habits and effects for children and young people, common sports injuries and ways of protection in children and young people. First aid, definition, purpose, emergency decision making, dressing and bandaging, carrying, breathing and cardiac arrest, injuries and bleeding, heat injuries, burns, poisoning, blockage and choking, fractures and other musculoskeletal injuries, animal and insect First aid in bites. Information on the importance of first aid in accidents and traffic accidents.
