Goals This course will give students the competencies of filing and archiving.
Course Content • Incoming and outgoing documents • Filing and filing systems • Establishment of the filing system and the filing process • Document exchange process, processing electronic documents, and protective measures for electronic documents • Digitization and the updating, storage, and disposal of electronic documents • Sector definitions and classifications • Definition of archives, types of archives, and the record system • Systems for lending documents or files from the archive • Document retention periods and disposal methods
