Goals To learn the formation conditions of the Turkish Revolution, to compare with other revolutions; To place Atatürk's thought and history consciousness.
Course Content Modernization and Europe, French Revolution and its effects, Westernization efforts in Ottoman, Tanzimat and Islahat Fermans, I. and II. Constitution and its consequences, Balkan and World Wars, Mondros Armistice, the beginning of National Struggle, Sevr and Lausanne Treaties, Turkish Political Life.
