Goals The types of materials used in the industrial area to recognize, to understand the basic properties, the ability to select the most suitable material for design to win
Course Content Material description and classification, internal structure of materials and the internal structure of the concepts, iron-carbon equilibrium diagram, heat treatment, corrosion, non-ferrous materials (ceramics, plastics), the materials forming processes (rolling and forging)
Learning Outcomes

1 Recognizes material structure and properties, can classify materials
2 Recognizes steels, cast irons and microstructures of these materials and can perform metallographic examination.
3 Knows heat treatment application methods. Can apply quenching heat treatment to steel and cast iron.
4 Learns how to create alloys, interprets alloyed, unalloyed steel, cast iron and their standards, and knows the effects of alloying elements on the material.
5 Have knowledge about non-ferrous metals
